Surprise announcement yesterday! Lady Gaga posted on social media yesterday to reveal that she will be performing music from the movie Top Gun Maverick. When will we be able to hear this unreleased song?

35 years after the huge T tubeake My Breath Awayinterpreted by Berlin (Oscar for the best original song), we know who will have the mission to take over the music in the sequel to Top Gun!

An iconic singer, also an actress, and already performing several film songs, has been chosen. This is Lady Gaga!

The American singer announced it herself on her social networks yesterday, including his Instagram accountrevealing at the same time a first visual, the title of the song, and the date on which we can hear it.

The title “Hold My Hand” will be available for listening from May 3, and we can imagine that a clip with film extracts should be put online at the same time, or shortly after.

Note that for the soundtrack of the film, Harold Faltermeyer and Hans Zimmer are announced.

Top Gun Maverick will be released in theaters on May 25, with a preview event in Cannes beforehand, in the presence of Tom Cruise and the film crew. Initially announced for the summer of 2019, Top Gun 2 was first postponed to the summer of 2020 while the actor learned to actually fly a combat plane, then to the summer of 2021 in the face of the coronavirus pandemic and finally in the fall of 2021.
