Javelin thrower Victoria Hudson has digested her World Cup disappointment and won on Saturday at the Austrian Top Meeting in Graz-Eggenberg with 60.98 m. It was her third largest distance this year.
“Today, the warm-up and the competition went well,” said Hudson, who will compete in Italy before the European Athletics Championships in Munich in mid-August. In the World Cup final she would have been the second best European, which gives hope for the continental title fights.
