Pornhub shares its 2023 results and the top searches for video games with us and there is reason to be surprised. Cult license, ultra popular and totally WTF characters on the program.

It’s time to do the big 2023 recaps. Sometimes rather amusing results, in fact. This is precisely the case here with Pornhub. The adult industry giant has made a summary of the activities of its users like every year, and as always there is a small category reserved for video games. And the least we can say is that the ranking is… surprising, once again
The Top most searched video games on Pornhub
Last year it was Fortnite, Overwatch And Genshin Impact which represented the top 3 most searched video games on Pornhub. And we have to believe that in 2023, no one was ready to change their habits. Fortnite is once again the most searched game on the platform, by a long way, closely followed by Overwatch. Only Genshin Impact disappears from the podium to give way to Minecraft and Pokémon. Poor Pikachu…
In fifth position, we find a new entry which does not surprise us that much; Atomic Heart. The “Russian Bioshock” caused a lot of noise when it was released and sparked heated controversy, notably because of a very crude character, a sado-masochistic fridge who never ceases to make particularly explicit advances towards us. And even if that was all there was to it… Atomic Heart doesn’t have a reputation for being lacy.
The rest of the ranking is quite summary, we find generally all the popular games of the year, even the GOTY Baldur’s Gate 3. Hoping that there are no bears this time. On the other hand, what is there to do? Cuphead there is a mystery inside.
Top most wanted characters, special video games
Of course, when it’s not the licenses that are sought after, it’s the characters. Once again, these are the trendy and popular franchises of the year that are represented here, but not only that. If it’s Chun-Li (Street Fighter / Cosplay Fortnite) who is in the lead, second position is held by Tifa, Cloud’s partner in FF7 Remake who we have already seen in ultra explicit situations. D.Va (Overwatch 2) is still very popular, just like Lara Croft (tomb Raider) and the gigantic Lady Dimitrescu (Resident Evil Village).
A top which is absolutely not surprising especially since most of these female characters are often sexualized for a yes or for a no (but that’s another debate). On the other hand, the sixth search for this top made me fall out of my chair since it is neither a character with generous shapes, nor even the representation of a human being! It’s Sega’s mascot, Sonic! I don’t know anymore. And when we look a little further down and we see that there is actually a Pokemon in the top, Gardevoir, there… If anyone has an explanation, I’m interested.
Top 2023 most searched for geek films, series and characters
Video games are of course not the only media to stir up fantasies. Films, series, popular characters… all tastes are in nature (SONIC WHAT!) and on Pornhub for once. This year, the top is not really different from last year. Star Wars is in the lead, followed by Harley Quinn, a colorful character from DC Comics, then Game Of ThronesAvatar (the blue), and Harry Potter bring up the rear of the top 5.
The success of the series House of Dragonthe intergalactic cardboard ofAvatar 2 the Way of Water, and the explosive launch of Hogwarts Legacy are certainly no strangers to this resurgence in popularity. For the rest, there are generally popular characters like Princess Leia (Star Wars), Batgirl, or the Netflix film 365 Days, a boiling hot film. On the exotic side, some obviously had some naughty ideas when seeing the film M3GAN, the killer doll. We even find Monster Hunter, the film by Paul WS Anderson, a real purge. It’s hard to fantasize about that, and yet! It’s certainly because of the Palico cook.
Most used consoles for watching videos on Pornhub
Obviously, Pornhub is absolutely not natively accessible on our home consoles, that’s all that would be missing. But you just need to use the browser on any machine to browse the Internet. Notice to all parents, remember to put parental locks where necessary, just to protect your children against excesses and against themselves as well.
Regardless, Xbox Series and PS4 are still in the top. PlayStation players also represent the majority of traffic, which is normal when you have more than 100 million active users on your ecosystem and even some on PS3!
