Australian Torah Bright has been heavily criticized on social media after posting a photo of herself performing a pear tree while breastfeeding her son.
On Mother’s Day, the Australian snowboarder has chosen to post an impressive photograph of her breastfeeding her son Flow while holding a pear tree. It accompanies its publication with a message:
“Becoming a mother has released something in me. It is deeply spiritual. It is essential. It is raw. It is fierce. It is pure. I am a mother. She concludes with a cry to mothers for it to happen. they are: “heard, honored, respected and encouraged”
Critics without tongue in cheek
However, while the Torah photo was praised by many of her followers, attracting over 12,000 likes, not everyone was happy with the message she sent.
“It’s just super weird. What are you trying to prove?” published one of its harshest critiques.
“I’m not saying it’s not beautiful. Breastfeeding is done between a mother and a child. It’s way too much. It’s not about holding hands and seeing how this kid might actually hold on to his tastes ”, wrote another.
Another took things on a much more pessimistic side: “It’s all fun until he bites her nipple and it falls on top of him, causing a head injury… there are surely better ways to get people’s attention. Like the clown school for example. “
“We must support each other”
Unfortunately, most of the criticism of Torah came from other women, which made the unpleasant reactions to its happy message even more disappointing.
Touched by the reactions of her other mothers, the Olympic champion wanted to answer them:
“Mothers, we have to encourage each other. We have to lift each other up. We must congratulate ourselves ”, she said in an Instagram video posted this morning.
