All fans of call of duty were able to witness a lot of action during this Call of Duty League 2022 Kickoff Classic this weekend on CoD Vanguard. This event marked the launch of the third season of the Call of Duty Leagueat the end of which was imposed the Toronto Ultra team.
The Toronto Ultra have often been dominant in last season of Call of Duty Leaguefinishing second in the last playoffs of the 2021 seasonlosing in the final against Atlanta FaZe. Before that, they had already snagged a second place during Major Stage 5 and even a Major Stage 2 victory. In addition to these excellent results last year, the Canadian team is once again imposing itself at the very start of the season, claiming victory at the Kickoff Classic, showing that this year may well be their year. The Toronto Ultra, already automatically qualified for the quarter-finals, had a fairly easy tournament. They win first against the Florida Mutineers on the score of 3-1 and advance to the semi-finals against the Los Angeles Thieves. Following a slightly complicated match, the Canadians still win on the score of 3 to 2.
In the end, they find the Seattle Surges, who, although starting from the 12th finals, had an excellent run during this Kickoff. In the first game, they win 3-0 against the London Royal Ravensthen prevail 3-1 v Atlanta FaZe in the quarters and reach the semi-finals where they win 3-1 also against the New York Subliners. During this final the Seattle Surge arrive to win the first round, but from there, nothing. During the second run, they lose on Tuscan 6 to 4then during the third, again on Tuscan, they still bow 2 to 3 and finally, in Berlin, the Toronto Ultra gives them the coup de grace with a 250 to 71 giving them victory.
At the end of this Call of Duty League 2022 – Kickoff Classic, the first tournament of the year, we must therefore remember that the Toronto Ultra are in glorious shape and will intend to dominate the Call of Duty League this season. The regular season starts on February 4 with the first stage, and the Major 1 will be played on March 3.
