(CercleFinance.com) – TotalEnergies announces that it has passed the milestone of 500 MW of solar production capacity on the sites of its B2B customers for self-consumption, with more than 300 sites of its industrial and commercial customers now equipped with solar panels in the world.
The energy group sells the green electricity produced in this way to its B2B customers directly on their sites (on rooftops, shadehouses or vacant industrial land) through long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs).
“Present in 30 countries around the world in this market, we aim to continue our rapid growth and reach a portfolio of 1 GW in service by 2023,” said Matthieu Langeron, VP solar distributed generation.
