TotalEnergies continues its development in Brazil

(AOF) – TotalEnergies, with the operator Petrobras and their partners in the Atapu and Sepia consortiums, have made the Final Investment Decision (FID) for the second phases of the development of the Atapu and Sepia fields, located in the prolific offshore pre-salt basin of Santos, Brazil. Production from the Atapu field started in 2020 using the P-70 floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit, with a capacity of 150,000 barrels of oil per day.

The Sepia field has been in production since 2021 thanks to the Carioca FPSO, with a capacity of 180,000 barrels of oil per day.

The two FPSOs are expected to start sequentially from 2029
