TotalEnergies EP Gabon: net result over 9 months improves

(Boursier.com) — The average selling price of crude oil marketed by TotalEnergies EP Gabon amounted to $81.1/bbl in the 3rd quarter of 2023, up +7% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2023 ($75.8/bbl) linked to the increase in the average price of Brent (11%) and despite less favorable market conditions for Mandji quality crude with the increase in sea freight rates.
Over the first 9 months of 2023, the average sales price of crude oil marketed by TotalEnergies EP Gabon stood at $77.2/bbl, down -20% year-on-year ($96.7/bbl) , in line with the evolution of Brent over the period.

TotalEnergies EP Gabon’s crude oil production amounted to 14.4 kb/d in the 3rd quarter of 2023, down -8% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2023 (15.7 kb/d). Over the first 9 months of 2023, TotalEnergies EP Gabon’s crude oil production amounted to 15.5 kb/d, stable compared to the first 9 months of 2022 (15.5 kb/d).

Revenue for the 3rd quarter of 2023 amounts to $120 million, up +12% compared to the previous quarter ($107 million), in line with the improvement in the average price of crude oils marketed by TotalEnergies EP Gabon .
Over the first 9 months of 2023, turnover stood at $332 million, down -20% compared to the first 9 months of 2022 ($415 million). This variation is explained by the decline in the average selling price ($77.2/bbl compared to $96.7/bbl).

Over the first 9 months of 2023, operating cash flow stood at $163 million, stable year-on-year.
