TotalEnergies is committed to the energy transition of its employees

(Boursier.com) — As part of its transition strategy, TotalEnergies wanted to support its 35,000 employees in France in their own ecological transition effort to make their energy consumption or their mobility in their daily lives more sustainable.

Thus, TotalEnergies and the representative trade union organizations at the Company level in France (CFDT, CFE-CGC and CGT) have unanimously signed a collective agreement to support employees in their energy transition, whether for their mobility or for their accommodation.

This agreement notably provides the 35,000 employees concerned with an individual “energy efficiency and transition” envelope of 2,000 euros gross allowing the reimbursement of 80% of purchases or services linked to housing and mobility.

-In mobility for:
*the purchase of an electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle,
*the purchase of a Crit’Air 1 vehicle,
*the purchase of an electric bike,
*the installation of sockets or charging stations for electric and plug-in hybrid cars at home,
*devices to reduce vehicle emissions, such as “flexfuel” or other vehicle conversion kit to biofuel.

-In the habitat to participate in:
*home renovation: energy performance diagnosis, insulation work and materials, installation of meters and electricity resale contracts, etc.;
*improvement of housing: installation of solar panels, domestic wind turbine, a heat pump, a new boiler (pellet, log, gas condensing or very high performance), a connected thermostat (or with efficient regulation), a water heater (solar or thermodynamic), any new, more virtuous heating method,
*the purchase of certain household appliances with high energy performance or a high repairability index
This agreement completes the offers of services and products resulting from the Company’s activities, intended for employees under certain conditions (price discount on the electrical charge at the station, on the supply of pellets or heating logs, boiler maintenance).

The agreement is applicable from January 1, 2024 for a period of 5 years and concerns employees of all companies based in France that are 100% owned as well as employees of companies that are at least 50% owned in the event of an agreement to their governance bodies.

“At TotalEnergies we are proud of this innovative and concrete agreement which allows us to support our 35,000 employees in France in their energy transition. As a major player in energy, we are keen to help our employees finance these changes in their daily lives. With this agreement, which is one of the first of this magnitude in France, we wish to contribute positively to the country’s decarbonization objectives”, declared Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies.
