(CercleFinance.com) – TotalEnergies announces that it has signed a liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales contract (SPA) with Sembcorp Fuels, a 100% subsidiary of the Singaporean group Sembcorp Industries.
The agreement provides for the delivery of up to 0.8 million tonnes per year (Mtpa) of LNG for sixteen years starting in 2027. The LNG will come from TotalEnergies’ global portfolio.
This new agreement is in addition to the current contract, which runs until 2029.
‘Through this supply of additional LNG to Singapore, TotalEnergies contributes to the country’s energy security and its decarbonization objectives’, underlines the company.
