(CercleFinance.com) – TotalEnergies EP Angola, the Angolan National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) and Sonangol Pesquisa e Produção, have signed a memorandum of understanding for the development of the Cameia and Golfinho fields, located on Blocks 20 and 21 of the Kwanza basin.
‘This agreement is a major step towards the final investment decision, expected in the course of 2023, after obtaining the agreement of the partners and the authorities’ indicates the group.
“With our partners, we are working to make possible the first offshore development project in the Kwanza Basin, which will bring the discoveries of Cameia and Golfinho into production and develop these new national resources,” said Nicolas Terraz, Managing Director Exploration-Production of TotalEnergies.
