PARIS, April 27 (Reuters) – TotalEnergies announced on Wednesday the acquisition of Core Solar to strengthen its position in the renewable energy sector in the United States.
The oil group, which is developing at a steady pace in renewable energies and electricity, indicates in a press release that Core Solar has a portfolio of more than 4 gigawatts of solar and storage projects.
These 4 gigawatts will be added to the portfolio of more than 10 gigawatts that TotalEnergies already has in the United States for renewable projects.
“The CEO of Core Solar, Greg Nelson, and his employees will integrate the teams of TotalEnergies”, indicates the French group. (Written by Matthieu Protard)
