(AOF) – In line with its strategy of selling non-strategic assets, TotalEnergies has signed an agreement with the Prax group providing for the sale of the 36.36% minority stake, held by TotalEnergies Marketing South Africa, in the Natref refinery (National Petroleum Refiners of South Africa), subject to customary authorizations and approvals.
Located in Sasolburg (Free State Province, South Africa), the Natref refinery, with a production capacity of 108,500 barrels of oil per day, is operated by a joint venture between Sasol (63.64%) and TotalEnergies Marketing South Africa (36.36%) and supplies the Johannesburg region.
