New week and new predictions for the FIFA 23 TOTW 24 Team of the Week. As usual, EA will offer new IF cards following the results of the best professional players of the past week. For the moment, the TOTW (IF) card system seems to be the same as last year with a Featured card (highlighted) as well as fairly standard boosts depending on the level of the card. We therefore present to you our predictions for the new cards which will be available in the packs from Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Guardians Team of the Week 24
Gianluigi Donnarumma, PSG, Ligue 1
Those who have the match will tell you, in addition to the bar and the post, only Donnarumma really held the barracks against the attacks from Nice on Saturday evening. The Italian keeper put out a great game against OGC Nice, coming off some classy saves to preserve the advantage for the French league leaders. Several months after his last special card, a second TOTW could be very interesting given the recent cards around PSG. Note that Leo Messi and Ramos could also be options for EA.
Ivan Cuellar, R Sporting, La Liga 2
If EA generally prefers to choose two Gold guardians, the studio sometimes makes exceptions. Here, it will be difficult to make a better choice than Ivan Cuellar. The Spanish goalkeeper recorded two assists in addition to taking out a penalty. A historic performance that should not go unnoticed.
Defender Predictions
Matthijs de Ligt, Bayern Munich, Bundesliga
A third TOTW card for De Ligt this season on FIFA 23? It is possible since the Dutch player scored the only goal of the match for Bayern, allowing the defending champion to maintain their lead in the Bundesliga. Its OTW version would continue to evolve to stay in the Meta.
Przemyslaw Frankoswski, RC Lens, Ligue 1
An excellent piston for RC Lens this year, Przemyslaw Frankoswski could get his second Team of the Week card there. It must be said that the Polish defender was once again decisive, with a goal in the 2-1 victory against Strasbourg. This special card could be interesting on a big boost, although the nation still somewhat limits its use.
Midfielders
Steven Berghuis, Ajax, Eredivisie
A regular at special cards, Berghuis has only obtained one TOTW card on FIFA 23. The Dutch player is however having a very solid season with Ajax and this new performance last weekend confirms it. Berghuis racked up two goals and two assists in a 4-0 win. This TOTW might be interesting if it’s based off of the POTM version he received last month.
Matheus Nunes, Wolves, Premier League
Another week without a win for Chelsea who lost 1-0 to Wolves. The executioner of the Londoners is none other than Nunes, author of the only goal of the meeting. If usually one goal is not enough, the magnificent volley and the importance of this goal in the media should carry Matheus Nunes in this TOTW 24.
Which Attackers in TOTW 24?
Marcus Thuram, M’Gladbach, Bundesliga
Although Borussia M’Gladbach’s season clearly hasn’t lived up to fans’ expectations, Marcus Thuram hasn’t disappointed. The French international is currently the second highest scorer in the Bundesliga with 13 goals. Further proof of his level of form with a goal and an assist in the important 2-0 victory against Wolfsburg. On the other hand, his card should not be really playable.
Denis Bouanga, LAFC, MLS
For once, it was the attacking position that was the most difficult to complete with few big performances. Thus, our choice here is Denis Bouanga, the LAFC striker. Very fit since the start of the season (already two TOTWs), the latter recorded a hat-trick in the club’s 3-0 victory against Austin.
FIFA 23 Featured Map of the Week
Michael Olise, Crystal Palace, Premier League
One of last year’s new features, the Team of the Week Featured card is back in FIFA 23. For TOTW 24, our pick is Michael Olise. The Crystal Palace striker was incredible for his club, who totally crushed Leeds in the second half after suffering the first. The French player was present on three goals, registering three important assists there with a view to maintaining. Although having good traits and an ideal in-game physique, it would take a very good double boost and weak foot buff to make Olise playable.
Cards that could appear in TOTW 23
We list here players who have a chance of appearing there but who, for various reasons should miss the selection of EA. The interest of listing these cards is to protect you from an investment point of view (see below) and thus potentially take some risks on less expected players.

How to get TOTW cards in FIFA 23?
TOTW cards are often interesting at high level but also for DCEs as well as to achieve specific objectives in friendly match mode. Therefore, even on players whose overall rating would be quite low, it is necessary to know how to get these TOTW cards on FIFA 23.
The first source is obviously the transfer market, where you can find a player’s TOTW cards in special versions of their cards. Be careful, however, because the IF cards sell for much more than the basic version. This is explained in particular by their rarity but also by the fact that the base price (in discard) is already quite high.
A second source remains gold packs of the game, which have these special cards for one week (from Wednesday to the following Wednesday at 7 p.m.). So be careful because once this week is over, it will be impossible to drop them in packs.
Additionally, Team of the Week cards are obtainable as a reward for FUTChampion (WL) depending on your ranking. If this year, the rewards could change, EA should not remove the presence of the TOTW cards. Similarly, the weekly ranking in Rivals allows to obtain TOTW cards although again, in FUT Champion mode (red).
Finally, specific TOTW Packs will be present during the season in ECDalthough the latter are often unprofitable because they are totally random.
Investments linked to TOTW predictions on FIFA 23
If the cards of the players selected in the Team of the week are often good sources of investment, it is also possible to earn credits via the TOTW. Indeed, there are several methods to speculate on the market.
Thus, the simplest and most regular is to bet on current TOTW players’ normal Gold cards. These are not present in the packs during the week, limiting the quantity of cards. If a player is looking to use these cards for DCEs or for their team, the prices can spike a lot. So buy the cards in anticipation of this rise, speculating on TOTW’s predictions. This technique is called OOP (Out of Packs, understand outside of packs) and also works for special cards in events. The more specific the card (big league, nation and rare position), the greater its potential. For example, a player like Jonathan Claus is very interesting because he is French, from Ligue 1 and on a relatively rare DD position in the Gold card. Therefore, his price in the Gold version could easily triple in OOP.
In addition, another method is to analyze future good TOTW cards and thus speculate on the cards related to them. For example, if Haaland receives a Team of the Week card, it’s likely players will be looking to incorporate him into their FUT roster. Thus, they will also seek to link this new card with other Premier League players, Man City players or even Norwegian players in order to create the best possible links. It is therefore possible to invest in cards allowing perfect links, just before the release of the new Team of the week. This technique will be useful with the release of special cards until around mid-December, before which time Team of the Week starts to look less interesting on FIFA 23.
Note that these two strategies require good anticipation of the market, but also finding the right timing. Often the cards to buy go up quickly, so you need to plan ahead who to buy. Also, this bull run won’t last long, so it’s necessary to play for a few days and quickly sell your cards.
