New week and new predictions for the FIFA 23 TOTW 25 Team of the Week. As usual, EA will offer new IF cards based on the results of the best professional players from the past week. For the moment, the TOTW (IF) card system seems to be the same as last year with a Featured card (highlighted) as well as fairly standard boosts depending on the level of the card. We therefore present to you our predictions for the new cards which will be available in the packs from Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Guardians Team of the Week 25
Andrea Consigli, Sassuolo, Serie A
While Juventus appealed the decision to take away 15 points this season, the Italian club missed out on their game against Sassuolo. Juve could not do anything against Andrea Consigli. The goalkeeper was determined to take the three points against the Chiesa team, notably making a world-class save on a cross header.
Anthony Lopes, Lyon, Ligue 1
Without a TOTW card for the second time in 6 years, Anthony Lopes could finally end the FUT season with an IF card. Indeed, the Portuguese goalkeeper was very good against Toulouse, allowing Lyon to hang on to finally win the match in the last minutes. While Lacazette is expected to feature in the Ligue 1 TOTS, a special card here would reward Lopes.
Defender Predictions

While the focus will be on Haaland and his double, it would be a shame to forget John Stones’ superb goal. The defender achieved a small wonder on a recovery in the skylight. The English defender, absent from the various TOTS, would be the ideal choice for EA.
Jorge Sanchez, Ajax, Eredivisie
Although EA are used to selecting goal-keeping defenders, we consider Jorge Sanchez’s performance to be difficult to snub. The Mexican defender scored a goal as well as an assist in Ajax’s 3-1 win.
Midfielders
Antony, Man United, Premier League
If Man United fans certainly expected a better season from the former Ajax player, Antony continues to shine in a few games. The Brazilian was decisive against Nottingham Forrest with a goal and a D assist, allowing Manchester to ideally place themselves in the top 4. Note that his OTW should thus be closer to his FUT Birthday (without the 5-5 in stars ) and thus be a good super-sub.
Vitinha, PSG, Ligue 1
If the duel between PSG and RC Lens was partially played on this red card at the start of the match, it must be recognized that Vitinha was motivated to win Paris. The Portuguese midfielder made an assist as well as a very solid goal, allowing his club to quickly take off. A good boost would make him usable although quite far from his Future Stars.
Which Forwards in the TOTW 25?
Ollie WatkinsAston VillaPremier League
The Premier League continues to offer us surprises, in particular last weekend, the very dry defeat of Newcastle. The hero of the match is none other than Ollie Watkins, who recorded two goals and an assist. The Aston Villa player is one of the nominees for the Premier League TOTS but with his chances limited we suspect EA will select him here.
Antoine Griezmann, Atletico Madrid, La Liga
Considered on the decline by many following his fairly average time at Barcelona, Antoine Griezmann seems to have found his football again during the World Cup. Since then, the French player has regularly worn Atlético, as was the case against Almeria, despite being 17th in the Spanish championship. Griezou has planted two goals, yet at 19 his total contributions (goals and assists) this season in La Liga.
FIFA 23 Featured Map of the Week
Jeremy Doku, Rennes, Ligue 1
One of last year’s new features, the Team of the Week Featured card is back in FIFA 23. For TOTW 25, our pick is Jeremy Doku. Quite irregular and often limited by injuries, Doku has not yet managed to win with Rennes. However, the Belgian player demonstrated his full potential with a very good double against Reims. A good upgrade could make it playable given its base map.
Cards that could appear in TOTW 25
We list here players who have a chance of appearing there but who, for various reasons should miss the selection of EA. The interest of listing these cards is to protect you from an investment point of view (see below) and thus potentially take some risks on less expected players.

How to get TOTW cards in FIFA 23?
TOTW cards are often interesting at high level but also for DCEs as well as to achieve specific objectives in friendly match mode. Therefore, even on players whose overall rating would be quite low, it is necessary to know how to get these TOTW cards on FIFA 23.
The first source is obviously the transfer market, where you can find a player’s TOTW cards in special versions of their cards. Be careful, however, because the IF cards sell for much more than the basic version. This is explained in particular by their rarity but also by the fact that the base price (in discard) is already quite high.
A second source remains gold packs of the game, which have these special cards for one week (from Wednesday to the following Wednesday at 7 p.m.). So be careful because once this week is over, it will be impossible to drop them in packs.
Additionally, Team of the Week cards are obtainable as a reward for FUTChampion (WL) depending on your ranking. If this year, the rewards could change, EA should not remove the presence of the TOTW cards. Similarly, the weekly ranking in Rivals allows to obtain TOTW cards although again, in FUT Champion mode (red).
Finally, specific TOTW Packs will be present during the season in ECDalthough the latter are often unprofitable because they are totally random.
Investments linked to TOTW predictions on FIFA 23
If the cards of the players selected in the Team of the week are often good sources of investment, it is also possible to earn credits via the TOTW. Indeed, there are several methods to speculate on the market.
Thus, the simplest and most regular is to bet on current TOTW players’ normal Gold cards. These are not present in the packs during the week, limiting the quantity of cards. If a player is looking to use these cards for DCEs or for their team, the prices can spike a lot. So buy the cards in anticipation of this rise, speculating on TOTW’s predictions. This technique is called OOP (Out of Packs, understand outside of packs) and also works for special cards in events. The more specific the card (big league, nation and rare position), the greater its potential. For example, a player like Jonathan Claus is very interesting because he is French, from Ligue 1 and on a relatively rare DD position in the Gold card. Therefore, his price in the Gold version could easily triple in OOP.
In addition, another method is to analyze future good TOTW cards and thus speculate on the cards related to them. For example, if Haaland receives a Team of the Week card, it’s likely players will be looking to incorporate him into their FUT roster. Thus, they will also seek to link this new card with other Premier League players, Man City players or even Norwegian players in order to create the best possible links. It is therefore possible to invest in cards allowing perfect links, just before the release of the new Team of the week. This technique will be useful with the release of special maps until around mid-December, before which time Team of the Week starts to look less interesting on FIFA 23.
Note that these two strategies require good anticipation of the market, but also finding the right timing. Often the cards to buy go up quickly, so you need to plan ahead who to buy. Also, this bull run won’t last long, so it’s necessary to play for a few days and quickly sell your cards.
