Tour and film premiere – In the footsteps of Falco in Bad Gastein

Because of Hans Hölzel alias Falco, big cutlery will be brought up in Bad Gastein from today, Friday. Celebrities come to Pongau to honor what is possibly Austria’s biggest pop star.

Hans Hölzel, aka Falco, enjoyed recovering from being a pop star in the Gastein Valley while he was alive. Local contemporary witnesses know this only too well. However, the Gastein residents remain silent about one or the other boozy escapade of the megastar who died too young. On the occasion of his love for the valley, a search for traces is invited to Gastein until Sunday. Companions of the falcon, such as the recently retired band Opus, Peter Rapp, producer Rob Bolland or singer Bella Wagner come to Pongau especially. The program includes a tour to Falco’s favorite places and the film premiere of his Requiem in St. Stephen’s Cathedral on the 20th anniversary of his death. Fans of the pop star who died on February 6, 1998 and of the Gastein Valley will get their money’s worth.
