Holidays in Salzburger Land have been better booked in the 2023/24 winter season so far than in the same period last year, despite some difficult weather periods.
According to initial data from Statistics Austria, overnight stays in hotels, guesthouses and holiday apartments increased by 2.8 percent to 14.7 million overnight stays. This is almost at the level before the outbreak of the corona pandemic. The massive demand from Germany and the early Easter date in March helped.
