After Gossip Girl, Sabrina, Charmed or Magnum, the television industry seems ready to look even further into the past for its next remake. It seems that a new version of Bowler hat and leather boots (The Avengers in original version, not to be confused with the Marvel team) or in the works by StudioCanal. We already know a little about the team behind the future series.
The start of a creative team already in place
The duo behind the series Industry, Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, will write. For the production, Ben Taylor of Sex Education will be behind the camera, but also in executive production. For the rest, and in particular the casting, you will have to be patient!
For the youngest, remember that in Bowler hat and leather boots, a mix of espionage and mystery, it was about following the good-natured secret agent John Steed (played by the late Patrick Macnee). For six seasons (eight if we count the second series, The New Avengers), this was supported by partners. The best known is probably Emma Peel, played by the deceased Diana Rigg.
