Increase the energy check for 2023 by 200,600 euros depending on income and expanding the population concerned by this device: here is the request that the CLCV sends this Monday, November 14 to the Minister of Economy and Finance, Bruno Le Maire. The consumer association is referring here to the 2023 energy check, the annual and usual aid paid in the springand not the exceptional check scheduled for the end of December, nor the fuel oil check for the month of November, nor the potential wood heating bonus.

The annual and traditional energy check is scheduled for April 2023. The amount of aid varies from 48euros 277eurosdepending on your reference tax income (RFR) and the composition of your household.

The CLCV certainly notes the exceptional measures taken by the government in 2022, but sees in them the proof of the significant financial vulnerability of 40% of the French population: Many consumers have to choose: eat or heat, continues the CLCV.
