Genshin Impact has been around since September 2020 and so far it has had no trouble gaining a foothold due to lack of competition. Almost two years later, a game is launched and although it does not necessarily have the marketing power of miHoYo’s game, it has its share of rather interesting specificities. 1 – Multiplayer
If you’ve ever played Genshin Impact at least once, it may have occurred to you that its multiplayer is a little weak. One point that remains important in open-worlds is the ease of getting around, especially when you have to go back and forth. For this there are teleport points, however, Tower of Fantasy offers us a little extra compared to Genshin Impact, these are the mounts that will allow you to move faster on the planet Aida. In addition, the game has a grappling hook and the glider is replaced by a Jet Pack.
3 – Avatar customization
Many of you like to customize your avatar and it’s something you can’t do in Genshin Impact. The only thing you can do is change skins for your characters. In Tower of Fantasy you can model your Wanderer in your image by changing his haircut, face and outfit. Of course, the skin system is also available for your avatar if you ever feel the urge to change her appearance.
4 – Fights
Where Genshin Impact has a combat system that offers you to combine several characters to create elemental reactions. Tower of Fantasy does not allow you to play multiple heroes. There is only your avatar, but the latter can use three weapons and switch between each of them to manage your opponents or make combos. You also find the dodging system which does not require endurance or which allows you to trigger a sequence slowing down your enemies in the event of a perfect dodge.
5 – Summons
Finally, we are going to talk about the summoning system which differs a little from that of Genshin Impact on certain points. For instance, the pity is at 80 invocations and if we stick to what happens in the Chinese version of the game, an obtained SSR does not reset it. Tower of Fantasy does not make you summon characters, they are only R to SSR rarity weapons and some weapons unlock you avatar skins.
