Toyota: cooperation with Suez in Türkiye


(CercleFinance.com) – Suez announced the signing of new contracts with Toyota Tsusho Europe SA relating to the recovery of metals from factories located in Turkey.

For many years, the subsidiary of the Suez group, Boone Comenor Metalimpex (BCM), and the Toyota Tsusho group have developed a fruitful partnership both in Europe and in Brazil and India.

With these new contracts, BCM, which already recovered 120,000 tonnes of metals per year in Turkey, will now recover 180,000 tonnes per year.

Created in 1899, BCM is a key player in the automobile, railway and aerospace industries. In 2022, the SUEZ group subsidiary recovered more than 1.8 million tonnes of metal waste in Europe, South America and Asia, the equivalent of 1,955,000 tonnes of CO2 avoided.
