(CercleFinance.com) – The Toyota group indicates that it sold 753,648 vehicles in February, a figure down 12% compared to February 2023.
In detail, sales of the Toyota brand fell by 6.9% (to 719,630 vehicles), while those of Daihatsu plunged by 65.5% (24,753 vehicles) and those of Hino fell by 18%, to 9265 vehicles.
On the production side, the group published a figure of 789,138 vehicles in February, down 12.1%, with -2.6% for the Toyota brand (737,178 vehicles), -66.6% for Daihatsu (42,145 units) and -32.4% for Hino (9,815 units produced).
Finally, the group indicates having exported 153,527 vehicles in February, a figure up 5.7% in twelve months, thanks to the dynamics of the Toyota brand (+7.7%, to 150,565 units) and despite the decline of Hino (-46.2%, to 2962 units).
