(CercleFinance.com) – Toyota announces that its worldwide production should reach 850,000 units (about 250,000 units in Japan and 600,000 units abroad) in September.
Last month, the manufacturer said it was expecting an average monthly production of 850,000 units from August to October.
Now, Toyota is adjusting its global production upwards between September and November and expects an average monthly production of 900,000 units.
Toyota says it has secured its parts and personnel supplies as well as the capabilities of its suppliers.
For the full year, the production forecast remains unchanged at approximately 9.7 million units.
