Toyota: Unveils its mobility concept for Paris 2024


(CercleFinance.com) – Toyota, as global mobility partner of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), has unveiled its mobility concept for Paris 2024.

Toyota will provide sustainable mobility solutions to athletes, officials, volunteers, accredited media and spectators.

Toyota will thus make available around 250 personal battery electric vehicles – seated C+walkS and standing C+walkT. Both have a maximum speed of 6 km/h and are equipped with forward obstacle detection systems to ensure the safety of drivers and bystanders.

Toyota will bring a fleet of 100% electrified passenger vehicles to Paris, in line with its commitment to reduce carbon emissions. In total, Toyota will bring more than 2,650 electrified passenger vehicles for use at Paris 2024, including 150 wheelchair accessible vehicles.

In addition to the 500 Toyota Mirai FCEVs, Toyota will also offer specific applications that go beyond the traditional automotive offering. Overall, Toyota and its partners plan to showcase up to 10 different hydrogen mobility applications, primarily fuel cell powered.
