Marketed from November 15 to December 15, these toys distributed by Gifi present a risk of choking for children. Sold nationwide, in all of the brand’s stores, they are now the subject of a recall procedure.
These are plastic clips from the Petit Génie brand, sold in a barrel with a yellow lid. The product sheet, relayed by the Rappel Conso site, indicates the “presence of small elements” as the reason for the recall.

A “risk of suffocation”, which could be the cause of “respiratory arrest” is pointed out by the body. Also, it is recommended to stop using the product immediately, before returning it to the store for a refund.
All lots sold are affected by this recall. The list of points of sale can be consulted on the government website and the recall procedure must continue until March 6.
