Thursday June 23, 2022, Cyril Hanouna presented the last issue of Touche not at my post, on C8, of the season. Before going on vacation, the famous host made a big announcement about the rest of the show.
It kept the suspense going for weeks! Star of C8, Cyril Hanouna had indicated that he would speak on the future of Do not touch My TV in the last issue of the season. Thursday, June 23, 2022, in ‘Baba’s speech’, the host exclaimed: “Dear compatriots, we have just closed the 9th season of Touch not at my post, on C8. A season full of emotion, twists and turns! Audiences have never been so high so thank you. Now is the time to look to the future…. What will happen?“Making the suspense last, Cyril Hanouna continued:”Know that a lot of things are going to happen that have been proposed (…) I can tell you today that Don’t touch my post and my person will be on C8 for the 2022-2023 season. Also for the 2023-2024 season. Also for the 2024-2025 season. And also for the 2025-2026 season!“
After thanking the Canal group for its trust, the host said he was very happy to stay on C8 until 2026. “You see, I always take into account what you tell me on the networks, in the street, to try to make the best show possible. We’ll try to do the best show possible next year with the band, and we’ll be back on August 29th for four more years!“A few minutes earlier, Cyril Hanouna had thanked”all the people on set.“Moved, he had let it be known:”They are loves. There’s a crazy vibe here and it’s all darka. Everyone who works with us is happy. They have been there for years and we are very happy. Sometimes I spoof ’em a little, but that’s part of the game.”
Cyril Hanouna’s message to his detractors
Before announcing that don’t touch my poste would still be on the air for a long time, the host wanted to thank … His detractors! “Thank you also to all the people, all those people who broke our hearts. No, but it’s true, we owe them our success, because I’ll say it again: criticize us, criticize me, me, you know, I’m quietly in my cage, like a lion and you bring me meat“, he said. Finally, he added: “I don’t even have to go hunting, the meat comes straight to me. We will have a very good year. When you realize that I feed on your bullshit, maybe you’ll stop, but for now, you still want to continue.“
