It must be said that Gilles Favard is chomping at the bit. Since the beginning of July, the L’Equipe channel announced that it was ending its collaboration with the sulphurous columnist, after eight years. It must be said that the escapades have succeeded for Gilles Favard, who has been suspended several times from the sports media. A first time for three months in the summer of 2016 when he had made a racist comment by comparing the player Hiroki Sakai to a “sushi seller”, or even as the president that the Belgians “were going to go home quickly to eat fries”.
