Matthieu Delormeau has not set foot on the TPMP set since his violent argument with Gilles Verdez. Hugo Manos, columnist on the show, gave some information on the situation.
During an interview on the Buzz TV set on Wednesday May 25, Hugo Manos spoke about the turmoil experienced by the set of Do not touch My TV the last days. It all started the day after the PSG-Montpellier match which Idrissa Gueye refused to play, because of the flocked jerseys with the LGBT flag on the occasion of the day against homophobia and transphobia.
Hugo Manos on Matthieu Delormeau: “I don’t know when he will come back”
While Gilles Verdez sided with the footballer, Matthieu Delormeau opposed this position, furiously leaving the set of TPMP. The next day, Hugo Manos replaced his colleague at short notice. While his return had been announced for Monday, May 23, viewers were able to note the prolonged absence of Matthieu Delormeau.
At the moment, the companion of Laurent Ruquier does not have much information on the future of Matthieu Delormeau in the program: “I don’t know when he’ll be back because I haven’t had him on the phone. I hope he will come back. We’ll see next weekI think he’ll come back, we’ll see”he said on the set of Buzz-TV.
Hugo Manos looks back on his argument with Raymond Aabou
Hugo Manos had taken advantage of his time on the set of Do not touch My TVto defend his absent colleague, in the face of a Raymond Aabou totally freewheeling on LGBT people. Laurent Ruquier’s companion seems to have forgiven the truck driver for his remarks and affirms that“He’s not homophobic” : “He wanted to say things, he was clumsy, he wanted to relay what part of the population unfortunately thinks. He should still have made it clear that he condemned it.it would have relieved the pressure”he said on Buzz-TV.
The day after the violent argument between Matthieu Delormeau and Gilles Verdez, Cyril Hanouna spoke about the absence of the columnist, saying that he had taken a few days to rest. The host of TPMP seemed particularly annoyed by the rest days taken by Matthieu Delormeau.
