On the first day of the final weekend of the Track Champions League, the only Swiss track cyclist at the start was unable to perform any exploits. Claudio Imhof, defending champion in the endurance division, achieved a zero in both the scratch (17th) and the elimination race (16th) in London. The man from Eastern Switzerland fell a week ago and was not yet fully fit.

Roy Eefting (NED) secured victory in the scratch, while William Tidball (GBR) narrowly prevailed in the elimination race. Before the final competition on Saturday, Canadian Dylan Bibic is in the lead in the overall endurance ranking with 116 points ahead of Tidball (100).

In the sprint category, Harrie Lavreysen (NED) won the sprint, while Kevin Quintero (COL) celebrated in the keirin. Lavreysen further extended his lead in the overall classification. He is now a whopping 29 points ahead of his first pursuer Matthew Richardson (AUS).
