The Twitch Rivals have already put the spotlight on games quite far from the competitive sphere like Among Us Where Fall Guys. But yesterday, a popular esports game in France was in the spotlight: Trackmania. Even if this racing game is not part of T1 esports, we can thank ZeratoR for works and its Trackmania Cups. Several structures in France are also involved in this scene: Solary, Team GO… and of course the Karmine Corp. ! And the latter shone last night with an exotic duo formed by the CEO Kameto and his pro player Bren.
General Kameto makes France shine
For some time, Kameto was propelled as the flag bearer of French esports. He shines on League of Legends with the Karmine Corp, three-time European champion, but he also starts to win on other games. In addition, we could see it during the famous Pixel War against the Spaniards and the Americans: General Kameto held the house. Even Zizou thanked Kamel for his work.
These Twitch Trackmania Rivals had no real sporting stakes. But a competition, even a friendly one, remains a competition and all the participants still have to try hard as much as possible to try to win the victory and the generous cash-prize ($25,000 prize pool). Among the duos (an influencer, a pro player) engaged, that of Kameto/Bren was the best. The French speakers shone and they were rewarded with a nice cash prize. The Karmine duo won $10,000 and Sardoche/Carl Jr. left with $6,000 : 5,000 for second place and 1,000 for fastest Pathfinder lap.
But Kameto did not just shine on the track, he also got noticed by performing a very nice gesture. He gave his share of the cash prize (5,000) to his player. We imagine that Bren was delighted. Even though some people think that money flows freely in the world of esports, there are many inequalities between disciplines. wages and earnings on Trackmania have nothing to do with those on LoL or CS:GO. $5,000 is a lot of money, but it probably means a lot more to Bren than it does to Kamel. Close to his community and his players, this exceptional bonus shows that he takes great care of his foals. What a king!
