A 68-year-old from St. Georgen am Walde drove the tractor in his barn on Friday afternoon. His four-year-old grandson was sitting on his lap. When lifting the rear shovel, the boy’s right foot must have gotten caught in the hydraulic linkage. The child’s leg was crushed. Take a helicopter to the hospital. The injury must have been so severe that the toddler had to be given first aid. Then the rescue helicopter “Christopherus 15” brought the four-year-old to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz.
