There were traffic obstructions on Wednesday lunchtime due to a spontaneous demonstration in downtown Vienna. Hundreds of opponents of the corona measures gathered in front of the medical association.
Around 650 participants had gathered for the demonstration, which, according to the police, was not properly registered. The police warn the demonstrators to wear masks, if they disregard they will proceed with advertisements, it says on Twitter. Especially at the beginning of the spontaneous protest rally, this was not always possible for operational reasons. In the inner city area there may be traffic disruptions, especially the areas of Parkring and Stubenring.
