Traffic offender – No driver’s license, too fast and drunk

In the Salzburg city area, police checked cars on Friday to see whether they were equipped for winter driving conditions. They caught three traffic offenders.

The police found a badly soiled and illegible license plate on the car of a 52-year-old Salzburg resident – after which they checked the man. The alcohol test worked, he had 1.74 per mille in the blood. The driver’s license was temporarily taken away and he was forbidden to continue driving. The police also checked private snow-clearing vehicles – one of the drivers did not have a valid driver’s license. He was forbidden to continue his journey and the vehicle was parked locked on site. A laser measurement was carried out on Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse. A vehicle driver could be measured at a permitted speed of 50 km / h with 104 km / h. After the tolerance has been deducted, an advertisement will be presented. The driver has to reckon with a driving license withdrawal procedure.
