Traffic will be generally green this weekend, according to Bison futé

Few slowdowns are expected despite the return of holidaymakers from zone C. Only Île-de-France should experience difficulties in the afternoon of Saturday May 7.

Traffic is classified as green throughout France from Friday May 6 to Sunday May 8, according to Bison Futé, the interministerial road information body. Only Saturday May 7 was classified as Orange for Île-de-France. The main difficulties are expected on Saturday in Île-de-France in the direction of returns. This weekend marks the return of spring school holidays and the return of Zone C holidays, which includes the academies of Créteil, Montpellier, Paris, Toulouse and Versailles.

This Saturday, the first slowdowns linked to the return of holidaymakers could appear in the Paris region from the very beginning of the afternoon on the A10 motorway, between Janvry and Wissous. Difficulties could then be encountered on the A6 motorway between Corbeil and Wissous. From the middle of the afternoon, slowdowns are expected at the gates of Paris to access the ring road and on the ring roads. Traffic may remain heavy until late in the evening, indicates Bison futé. The organization advises motorists to cross Île-de-France in the direction of returns before 2 p.m. this Saturday and to avoid the A10 motorway at the Saint-Arnoult toll gate from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
