The German trailer for the new Pixar adventure “Lightyear” is here. In it: “Game of Thrones” star Tom Wlaschiha as Buzz Lightyear.

“To infinity – and much further!” On June 16, “Toy Story” space ranger Buzz Lightyear starts his first cinematic adventure. Disney now has Pixar along with animation company Pixar for this released a new German trailer. The main and title character Buzz Lightyear is spoken by “Game of Thrones” actor Tom Wlaschiha (48).

The film tells, so to speak, the history of the “real” astronaut Buzz Lightyear, after whose likeness the action figure in the “Toy Story” series was later designed. Through a series of unfortunate events, the confident Lightyear and his crew end up millions of light-years from Earth and in the middle of a conflict with a robot army.

Chris Evans speaks in the original

The animated film was directed by Angus MacLane (47), who previously worked as a co-director on the Pixar film “Finding Dory”. While Wlaschiha speaks the sky striker in the German version, it is Chris “Captain America” Evans (40) who lends his voice to him in the English original.
