Trailer The Last Of Us: emotion and a big revelation in the expected adaptation of the famous video game

After several teasers, a new trailer for The Last Of Us was unveiled at Comic-Con in São Paulo. And we can say that the fans are as reassured as they are thrilled.

It is the most anticipated series of the beginning of the year 2023 and the revelation of its last trailer made the event. The adaptation of The Last Of Us, signed Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckmann, (creator of the video game franchise), is revealed a little more with new images.

This promising trailer, unveiled at Comic-Con in São Paulo, allows to present more characters than the main duo, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and ends up reassuring the fans, already conquered by the first teasers and trailers.

It also gives a more detailed overview of the urgency present in the universe of The Last Of Us, the dangerous road trip of the characters and especially the threat of the infected, in particular a Colossus, and small military groups.

But it also allows you to make a big revelation! Comedian Ashley Johnson, who lends her voice and features to Ellie in the video games, is part of the cast as Ellie’s mother.

She will not be the only one from the video game franchise team to participate in the television adaptation since Troy Baker (Joel in the games) is also present, in an unknown role for the moment.

The rest of the cast includes Gabriel Luna (Tommy), Merle Dandrige (Marlene), Anna Torv (Tess), Murray Bartlett (Frank), Jeffrey Pierce (Perry), Con O’Neill (Bill), Nico Parker (Sarah) , Nick Offerman and Melanie Lynskey.

The trailer ends with a moving revisit to A-ha’s hit “Take on me,” a nice nod to fans who played The Last Of Us: Part II. The soundtrack will also necessarily be of high quality since it is the Argentinian composer Gustavo Santaolalla, who produced the original soundtrack for the games, who also signs the music for the series.

The Last Of Us premieres January 15 on HBO Max in the United States. Unfortunately, the series does not yet have a broadcaster in France.
