Train accident early Monday evening in the Lower Austrian district of Mödling: A train had derailed for an unknown reason. The accident is said to have claimed injuries and even fatalities.
According to initial information from the “Krone”, there were two fatalities and several injuries. As a picture from the scene of the accident shows, a train derailed near Münchendorf. As a result, a wagon tipped to the side and came to rest in an adjacent meadow. A large contingent of emergency services is on site.
