The Oberwart Gunners and UBSC Graz are contesting the final of the men’s Basketball Super League (BSL).
The Burgenlanders celebrated a 70:69 (35:39) away win against the Traiskirchen Lions on Wednesday and thus won the “best of five” series 3:2, as did the Styrians, who beat the Klosterneuburg Dukes, the number one of the basic round, prevailed with 81:72 (40:34). The first duel in the “best of five” final series will take place next Saturday. It will be the Gunners’ tenth final appearance and they are aiming for their third championship title after their triumphs in 2011 and 2016.
