Transport strike: in Nice, parking will be free all day on Thursday

No bus or tram will circulate on the territory of the Metropolis.

As part of the national transport strike movement, the Lignes d’Azur network, which covers the entire Nice metropolitan area, will be shut down on Thursday. No buses or trams will circulate on the territory.

To compensate for these travel difficulties, the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, has introduced free on-street parking “whenever the transport network is strongly impacted”. It will be like this this Thursday, all day long.

This great day of interprofessional strike, which responds to the call of the CGT, follows that, mixed, of October 26th. The union intends to put pressure on both employers and the government to obtain wage increases and a rise in the minimum wage.
