How is Travis Barker’s health? The drummer has returned after a hospital stay.
Travis Barker (46) has now reported back to his fans after the moment of shock last week. The Blink 182 drummer was hospitalized on Tuesday (28 June) with an acute pancreatitis. In an Instagram story the musician now explains what happened: “I went for an endoscopy on Monday and felt great, but after dinner I got unbearable pain and was hospitalized.”
A “very small polyp” was removed during an endoscopy. “Unfortunately, an important drainage tube of the pancreas was damaged in the process,” said Barker. This led to “severe, life-threatening pancreatitis”. However, after “intensive treatment” Barker would be “much better”. He was “very grateful”.
“Scary week” for Kourtney Kardashian
The musician’s wife, Kourtney Kardashian (43), also has herself at Instagram reported on the events. It was a “scary and emotional week” for her. She thanked God for “my husband’s healing, for all your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support.” The specialists, doctors and nurses from the hospital would have “taken such wonderful care of my husband and I,” she enthuses.
