Trend color 2021
3 ways we’re styling Bordeaux this fall
As always, Bordeaux red is one of THE trend colors of the autumn season. We’ll tell you how we combine them this year.
Monochrome
Monochrome looks have been part of the status quo in our wardrobe for several seasons. But especially in autumn it can be a little more color. That’s why we style burgundy as an all-over look. Duchess Meghan, who wore an ensemble in great shades of red on her New York trip, shows us how to do this correctly. Wide trousers and an elegant cashmere cardigan with pink accents. Because that’s what makes the monochrome look exciting. You are also welcome to work with color blocking here. Pink and rose tones go perfectly with Bordeaux, as does lilac.
It is important that everything really fits together with monochrome looks. From jackets to pants, from shoes to bags. If the individual parts differ slightly in color, that doesn’t matter. The main thing is that the color family is right.
No paint, but leather
Leather and artificial leather are THE materials of autumn. But we’ve seen black leather leggings or jackets far too often. This is why the season’s it-pieces can now get an upgrade – and a colored one. Bordeaux red lederhosen not only look super cool, they can also be combined with many outfits. With a cream-colored blouse or a black oversize sweater. The wardrobe is also open to you when choosing your shoes. Depending on the cut of the pants, you can adjust your shoes accordingly.
Minimalistic
We know, not everyone: r loves outfits with lots of color. Black is and will simply be the ultimate shade for the colder times of the year. You don’t even have to do without it. Anyone who chooses an accessory, such as a handbag, in bordeaux red is at least as trendy as the monochrome look. The best thing about it: The colored accessories look great with outfits in black, but they don’t steal the show from the rest of your outfit.
