White Christmas without snow? With these styling tips we skilfully stand out from dreary, dark winter colors in street style and combine the trend color white in all its modifications and variations in a completely new way.

While the chance of a white Christmas is getting less likely every year, that’s just one more reason for us to at least let the white colors come alive in our wardrobes. So that everyone: r “knows” how to properly stage white in the coming months, here are the most important tips for the perfect look in the beautiful non-color.

We take off with white

Dressed in white from head to toe is probably the easiest way to look chic and stand out properly. Because nothing screams “classic elegance” like an all-white look in winter. And while Christmas and New Year’s looks sparkle with glitter and glitter elements, we like to keep our wardrobe more neutral and reserved in everyday winter life. White is an easy way to stand out from boring looks, despite the restrained color tone. No glitter, no Pop of Color, but a skilful monochrome style that will attract at least as many fashion eyes. And while others rely on equally gloomy, dark colors in the cold, gloomy months, this shade skilfully sets us apart from the crowd.

As we all know, not all white is created equal. Here, too, there are subtle color deviations and undertones. We recommend opting for a cream, beige or stone shade. These gradations are much less sensitive. An off-white can also be the right choice here. If you can’t decide which shades of white to match, just use the monochrome color blocking! Yes, it is also fine. Because color blocking doesn’t always have to be color-intensive. We can also find variations within a shade. This is how a cream white jacket to shoes in off-white and a pair of leather pants in stone white, as influencer Lissy Roddyy shows in a recent post on Instagram.

As so often, expensive doesn’t mean better here. You should probably refrain from investing in a coat made of pure white wool. Cashmere can also be problematic when it comes to cleaning. No matter how chic it feels or looks, white clothes will – willy-nilly – get dirty, no matter how wary we are of mud and rain. A dirty wool or cashmere coat is difficult to get clean again, the cleaning costs are high. So we should always keep an eye on the care label before buying, especially with light-colored fabrics – and if that doesn’t mean anything to us: Mama, aunt or Dr. Ask google. Alternatively, you can opt for something quilted that is easier to clean and is also on trend this winter.

With the all-white look, we not only layer colors, but also layers. A cream-colored fine-knit sweater often provides the basis on which it can be easily built. There will be linen shirts under wide, white knitted dresses worn over an oversized chunky cardigan or a elegant coat in the right color. Then there are high boots with flashing overknee stockings and not to forget: an XXL scarf. This not only gives the look the necessary winter upgrade, but also exudes a cozy character.

When it comes to finalizing the all-white look, we’re sticking to the light color palette. We stick to tone in tone with the choice of colors, but we can really let off steam with the materials. Shearling bags, for example, are one way of giving the look an exciting, young twist. The bag made of the It material not only looks totally cool, it is also easy to combine. And the texture can also be doubled here: a teddy bag and a teddy coat? Always bring it on, because it is high time to show our radiantly soft side, on all those gloomy winter days!
