Messy Beach Bun: Explained Step by Step
1. If necessary, lay your hair in waves using a waving iron or a curling iron.
2. Then use a “Sea Salt Spray” for more structure in the entire hair.
3. Now tie your hair in a deep braid. Only pull the hair halfway through the elastic.
4. Take a few strands out of the braid around the face.
5. Tie half of the hair that is still sticking out of the braid around the hair elastic.
6. Finally, loosen the hair on the head and the strands that have been twisted around the hair tie.

Styling of the messy beach bun
The whole look is not supposed to look perfect and not too strict. The bun can be loose and a little messy. This is an even better way to imitate the situation, as if you were fresh from the beach and the wind has disheveled your hair. The “undone” look is currently very popular anyway.
In no case should you forget to use the sea salt spray: This gives the hair the necessary grip and the bun the beach look. For this you can, for example, use the Surf Spray from bumble and bumble (approx. 15 euros) or the Hairplay Sea Salt Spray from kms (approx. 14 euros). This step is a must especially for those of us who have naturally very straight and fine hair. Those should also consider waving their hair in the first step so that the bun gets even more texture at the end.
