A current analysis of the development of housing construction in Carinthia shows: The demand for smaller apartments in Carinthia is increasing. The focus is also on commercial residential developers.

A residential building project in Carinthia has an average of 21 residential units, with a usable living space of 74 m². Most apartments, in relation to the population, are built in Klagenfurt and Villach. Balconies, terraces and gardens are the most common features. In the future, 1,720 residential units will be completed in 2023. The completion of 1,720 residential units in Carinthia is planned for the current year, and a much higher level is expected for 2024.
