The success of Triada is confirmed, a week after its arrival on Netflix. The Mexican series inspired by an incredible story now holds second place in the top, just behind Outer Banks. With only 8 episodes and a thrilling plot, it has all the qualities to become a hit on the platform.

If you are one of the subscribers who have already finished the series, a question burns your lips: is Netflix planning a season 2 of Triada? At present, no decision has been made but it is unlikely that the series will have a sequel since it was thought of as such. At the end of season 1, the three sisters discover the truth about their past and the person who has been pulling the strings from the start: Dr. Julia Batiz (Nuria Bages).
Aleida manages to free Becca and Tamara, who were locked in a glass cage. But when the latter two manage to find her in their childhood home, they discover their sister in the hands of Julia Batiz, who is holding her at gunpoint. Without knowing very well how, the triplets manage to escape, without being hurt. We understand afterwards that they locked the psychiatrist in a dark room in the basement, in a place where no one can find her.
In other words, the circle is complete for our three heroines camped by Maite Perroni, who can now live their lives and get to know each other. Becca learns in the process that Humberto (David Chocarro) died in the car accident, he who has worked for the doctor for years.
If season 2 of Triada there is, it could be interested in other triplets or simply tell us how Becca, Tamara and Aleida manage to live having discovered the truth about their childhood. Julia could also make her return, just like Humberto. Nothing tells us that he really died or that the three sisters were the only ones to be part of this experiment…
