Duo served long prison sentences. Four perpetrators are already in prison.
Armed with a knife and baseball bat, they stormed into a room in an apartment hotel in Wals-Siezenheim. Six Romanians attacked a compatriot and captured 25,300 euros. The victim had celebrated in the hotel with prostitutes. The man kept the money in a safe. The women noticed and informed the brutal gang immediately. They had started a heated argument with the customer. After the attack, the men fled. Shortly afterwards, the police were able to apprehend the suspects. They wanted to cross the border crossing near Laufen in a car. The incident happened in April last year, and four members of the gang are already in prison. In autumn 2021, they received prison sentences of between two and a half and five years. The verdicts for the last two perpetrators were also passed at the regional court on Tuesday. One man has to go to prison for five years, the second Romanian one more year. Both judgments are already final.
