RUnfortunately, the subject of masculinism has never been invoked so much in a French court. Questions from the president of the Assize Court of Yvelines to the pleadings of lawyers, the trial of Mickaël Philétas, which ended on Wednesday January 25, was also that of this anti-feminist ideology. Sentenced to life imprisonment with a security sentence of 18 years for the assassination of Mélanie Ghione and a double attempted murder, Mickaël Philétas did not show the slightest emotion at the statement of his sentence. In his reasons, the president of the court considered in particular that the accused presents a “disturbing relationship with women” and “adheres to a movement advocating a masculinist ideology”.
