Trick with the paper bag: It’s that easy to keep annoying wasps away

Chasing away wasps with paper bags – this is how it works

To drive away the insects, all you have to do is crumple and shape a brownish or greyish paper bag into a so-called wasp deterrent and place it in a suitable place, such as on and around affected seating and eating areas. Brown organic waste bags, for example, are suitable for this.

This paper structure resembles the structure of a stranger’s wasp nest and signals that another swarm is already at home there, which drives the wasps away. Attaching the dummy early can also prevent the animals from building a nest near the garden and house.
