Trifox: The adventure game inspired by Ratchet & Clank and Crash Bandicoot has a date

It’s been a long time since Trifox is in development. Our team had discovered it in 2017 during a previous Gamescom, more than five years ago. The game was already playable at the time but has since evolved, both in its graphic style and its ambitions. Yet scheduled for 2019, the independent title now has a release date very close.

The fox is ready for adventure

If the title has evolved since then, the basic material has not fundamentally changed: Trifox is an action and adventure game where you play as a fox who goes on a quest to restore his house which has been invaded and looted. To do this, he will have to go through many levels, face a multitude of enemies and solve some puzzles and platform phases.

As the developers themselves say, the title is inspired by the first Crash Bandicoot, Jack & Dexter and Ratchet & Clank to pay homage to the golden age of 3D platformers. The first images confirm this inspiration, while adding a particularity: our hero will be able to use different talents to vary the situations, by embodying for example the role of the warrior, the engineer or even that of the mage.

Trifox is expected at a price of € 19.99 on Switch for October 13 and then on PC via Steam and Xbox One / Series on October 14. For people on PlayStation 4 & 5, it will be necessary to wait a little, since it will arrive a little later on an unknown date.
