Triliz, expert in the leasing and management of computer equipment for SMEs and start-ups, announces its merger with the rental company Finaho, which specializes in the financing of equipment for professionals.
The two companies come together under the umbrella of the new structure called Cleaq, which offers a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solution to finance and manage IT equipment for professionals. Cleaq finances itself via a bundled subscription offer, which includes financing, repairs, unlimited support and lifecycle management.
This merger comes at the right time, following on from a “record” year for Finaho as for the start-up Triliz, which saw its turnover “multiplied by 12”, specifies the new merged entity in a press release.
Reduce the digital energy footprint
In addition, the merger is accompanied by a fundraising of 4 million euros in debt dedicated to the financing of contracts. The two companies have already raised a total of 5 million euros in equity since their creation. “We no longer wanted to be dependent on lessors who refinanced our contracts. We naturally approached our historical financier Finaho, in order to become a single company, in which Finaho would bring its expertise in financing and we in technology,” said Victor Thion, CEO and co-founder of Cleaq.

Labeled Responsible Digital, the newly merged company’s mission is to support SMEs and start-ups in reducing their digital impact, by practicing rental for use, extending the lifespan and managing of the fleet. Digital-related pollution is “huge”, comments Victor Thion. It accounts for 4% of greenhouse gas emissions each year, ie “one and a half times more than civil aviation”.
In its roadmap for 2022, Cleaq wants to support nearly 1,000 SMEs and equip 20,000 employees. According to management, this would reduce the digital impact of these companies by more than 4,000 tonnes of CO2 in total.
